Buttercup Collections doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. This page explains the small pieces of data the app keeps on your device, and how to control them.

1What we mean by cookies

Cookies are small files that websites place on your device. Modern apps like ours mostly use similar tools instead: browser storage (local storage and cache storage). They do the same job, so this notice covers them all and we call them “cookies” for short. In practice the app sets no traditional cookies of its own.

2Your choices

The first time you visit, we ask what you’re happy with. Essential storage is always on because the shop can’t work without it. Functional & performance storage is optional and off until you allow it.

You can also clear stored data in your browser or phone settings at any time. If you do, you’ll be signed out and your cart and favourites on this device will be removed.

Makes the shop faster and lets it work with a weak or no connection.

Saved product photos (cache: buttercup-images-v1)

Up to 90 recently viewed product photos, so they load instantly and use less data.

Kept: until cleared or you turn this off

If you switch this off, we delete these items from your device straight away.

5What we don’t use

Advertising cookies or ad networks
Cross-site tracking or profiling
Third-party analytics tools
Selling or sharing your browsing data

6Third parties

Some features load content from other companies, which may see your IP address when they do:

Google Fonts: loads our typefaces from Google’s servers.
Google sign-in: only if you choose to sign in with Google. Google’s own cookies apply on its pages.
WhatsApp: links open WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy.
